This system is created in order to support the ideas of the players on the server - this gives a potential reward system - for approved Factions, which moves beyond the borders of a single Guild Claim. Just as any other title system, it holds tiers, requirements, and reward options affiliated with the Guild Concept. However, the most important factor in the success of this system, is player initiative, creativity and activity. You as players help shape your own concepts, and thereby the world, each iteration. When/if approved a set of steps and goals will be set for the members of the faction, in order to obtain certain achievements and rewards and will be entirely "point based". Members will be able to achieve Experience Points, through certain preset actions, determined by the Faction Leader on setup. When the character/player has reached an amount of points affiliated with a new tier, they will receive such a rank and any potential rewards that follow with it.
The following sections will explain to you how this system works, and how you can found your own faction.
FACTION BONUSES & TITLE RANKS:
Faction Bonuses: 1. The Faction will get access to their own separate Discord Text+Voice Channel, and Forum Section. 2. The Faction will be advertised here on the website/forum (unless otherwise asked for). 2. The Faction can gain access to a special Faction Store via Trade Post Mod. 3. All members of the Faction will recieve a coloured role on Discord - any Advanced Members and above can gain Name Colours in the Game aswell. 4. The Faction is allowed to do RP Announcements in Global - and will be assigned a Text Colour at their disposal. 5. Faction Members can get % Buy Discounts with GM Traders, depending on their Rank. 6. Factions will get access to GM and Storyteller Support for events - and will be assigned a Contact GM in regards to adminstrational assistance. Members of a Faction can gain Experience Points (XP) through various types of objectives and tasks, which is defined in cooperation with the Faction Leader. This will mainly consist of event participation, special objectives and faction donations - however the Faction Leader, can choose to completely disable donations as a way to earn points, making objectives and events the main source of experience gain.
The Faction may have as many tiers, events, and objectives/achievements as they like - we put no limit to your roleplay or internal structures. However, the GM Supported System will only focus on 4 Tiers and the rewards followed by those. You should also not expect more than max. 1 GM Supported/Hosted Guild Event per week. However, Faction Leaders may request Storyteller Support for certain type of events, and should send screenshotted material of attendance and content to the GM in charge of the Faction - who will use this to update the Point System.
Remember, this is a pre-setup example for how a Faction should function, but we are willing to adjust certain minor features, if they make sense in regards to the roleplay/concept, and does not prove imbalanced. So talk with the GM assigned to your Faction, but always remember their final judgement stands.
Tier 1 - Novice (Peasant, Recruit, Initiate, Apprentice etc.) Requirements: Must ICly join the Faction, and donate X amount of Resources/Coins. Must perform a Special Action/RP Objective.
Rewards: The Player will be granted a Faction Tag on Discord, and will be given access to the Faction Channels on both our Discord & Forum. Can gain access to a special Faction Store. Can donate for 10 Points worth a IRL week. May gain access to Special Guild Events.
Tier 2 - Member (Lord, Soldier, Priest, Artist, Craftsman etc.)
Requirements: 30 Accumulated Experience Points. Special Requirements fitting for the Faction. (Level of Skill, Special Objectives Completed etc.)
Rewards: May Receive Gear fitting for their Rank, for free. Will be listed on the Official Website (if fitting for the Faction concept). May gain a special Title IG. Will get a 5% Buy Discount at GM Traders/Faction Store. Can donate for 15 Points worth a IRL week.
Tier 3 - Senior Member (Sergeant, Baron, High Priest etc.) Requirements: 75 Accumulated Experience Points. Special Requirements fitting for the Faction. (Level of Skill, Special Objectives Completed etc.)
Rewards: May Receive Gear fitting for their Rank, for free. Can get a Personal Claim Approved - despite Guild limits. May gain a special Title IG. Will get 10% Buy Discount at NPC Traders. Can donate for 25 Points worth a IRL week.
Tier 4 - Expert Member (General, Duke, Arch Priestess etc.) Requirements: 125 Accumulated Experience Points. Special Requirements fitting for the Faction.(Level of Skill, Special Objectives Completed etc.) Rewards: 1 Special Named Item, linked to their rank and achievements. (Will be gained through an RP Event) May Receive Gear fitting for their Rank, for free. Will be listed on the Official Website (if fitting for the Faction concept) May gain a special Title IG. Will get 20% Buy Discount at GM Traders/Faction Store.
HOW TO MAKE A FACTION:
The Faction must have min. 4 active members to begin with (including the Faction Leader). It must also have a dedicated Base of Operations, which has to be located inside the Faction Leader’s Guild Claim. A Guild Claim can easily be host to several Factions, for example: the Capital of a Kingdom, can also host an Artists Academy and Trader’s Guild.
When the appropriate Ticket has been submitted, it will then be reviewed by a GM and approved, if they feel it fits within the world lore, and does not create a potential problem for the community itself - the GM will of course also be available for support in the process of setting up the Faction. This could be anything from a Kingdom, Craftsman's Guild, to a Trader Guild, to a Mercenary Group, or a Secret Cult, and so much more. The Faction Leader must provide the following information: 1. Faction Name 2. Faction Leader (Character Name + Discord Handle) 3. Current Members (excluding the Faction Leader) 4. Base of Operations (Guild Claim - if non, please explain why.) 5. Faction Concept 6. Faction Rules 7. Preferred Faction Colour Code 8. Rank Names 9. Suggestions for Special Objectives & Achievements 10. Any Other Information 11. Enable Donations. (Y/N) 12. Choose 5 Donation Options.

SPECIAL NAMED ITEMS:
These items will be given to a character, when that character reaches a certain stage of achievement.
It will be linked to an RP Event, fitting for that Faction, and this will be coordinated between the Faction Leader + Player, and will have either Storyteller/GM Support.
It is both lootable and non-refundable. It is the player’s sole responsibility, after being given.
The item will have a name displayed after the Player Relogs.
The Item will never be Armor Parts/Outfits.
If the item consist of Weaponry - it will never be higher than 60Q, as this has roleplay value only.
GAINING EXPERIENCE POINTS:
Members of any Faction can obtain XP in order to help them rise in the ranks of their Faction. It is fairly straight forward - you can gain this by attending both smaller and larger events, or by donating special resources to your Faction. It is the Faction Leader’s responsibility to set up an internal structure for documentation and relay this information to the Contact GM in charge of handling the Faction, who will note the Points. Yes, this includes Screenshot Material - to avoid any potential abuse. It is the Faction’s own responsibility to store any donations and it is 100% under their control - GMs will not give any refunds for lost materials during for example wars or glitches, nor will they take claim of any of these materials.

ABOUT THE FACTIONS:
ALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR GUILD CONTENT, STRUCTURE AND DAILY MAINTENANCE WILL LIE ON THE FACTION LEADER - NOT THE GMS.
GMS WILL ASSIST IN DOCUMENTING AND STORING XP - AND DELEGATING REWARDS TO MEMBERS WHEN REACHING SPECIFIC TIERS.
GMS AND STORYTELLERS WILL ASSIST IN RUNNING CERTAIN GUILD EVENTS.
INACTIVITY WILL NOT AFFECT STORED POINTS OR TIERS.
MEMBERS CAN ONLY BE DEMOTED/REJECTED FROM A FACTION - IF THE FACTION LEADER SUPPLIES VALID PROOF AND REASON ACTIONS LEADING TO SUCH A CONSEQUENCE.
THE FACTION LEADER CAN ASSIGN A NEW LEADER FOR THE FACTION, WHEN BOTH PARTIES AGREE, AND THE GM IN CHARGE IS NOTIFIED.
UPON REQUEST & PROLONGED INACTIVITY (14 DAYS+) GMS CAN REASSIGN FACTION LEADERSHIP - THE FACTION LEADER WILL ALWAYS BE NOTIFIED IN ADVANCE AND WILL BE GIVEN A 2 DAYS WARNING.
CHARACTERS MAY ONLY JOIN 1 FACTION AT A TIME - BUT CAN LEAVE AT ANY GIVEN TIME. ALL POINTS WILL BE NULLIFIED UPON EXIT.
THE STAFF WILL NOT TOLERATE CHEATING OR ABUSE OF THE FACTION SYSTEM - AND MAY SHUT DOWN ANY FACTION/EJECT ANY MEMBER SUSPECTED OF SUCH WITHOUT WARNING.
