Religion in Selandor provides the deities with their power and influence over the settlers therein. The more followers a deity has, the greater their power to influence the islands and their followers. When a player character reaches 100 Piety they can declare themselves a pope of an established deity or work to establish their own deity.
Establishing A New Deity
An RP ticket must be submitted expressing your interest in establishing a deity, including the deities alignment (ex. Neutral Good) and backstory lore (This must be done before you will be able to provide offerings for God's Favor)
Until a new deity is "Established" a settlement may provide offerings from the offerings list of the deity with the same alignment (ex. Neutral Good) to generate the God's Favor needed to advance to a Monastic Order, at which point a GM given quest can be taken to officially "Establish" the new deity
Until a deity is "Established" all offerings quantities are increased by 1/3, rounded up
The new deity must be the official deity of a Monastic Order or Holy Order
New deity must have a Pope (Piety 100)
The new deity will replace an existinglesserorintermediatedeity and must have the same alignment as the deity it is replacing
